From what others have shared, it varies significantly - sometimes based on VO, but honestly seems to be mostly luck.

Have you received your eCoPR yet? You should get it soon if not, since you submitted your solemn declaration on Dec. 1st. Once the eCoPR is available for you to download, some folks get their cards within a week, and others take over a month...
I haven't received my eCoPR yet.
Will there be any email once it is ready to download?
Actually, I want to extend my health card, it looks like eCoPR is enough to extend.

Do we need to initiate the refund request if there is any parallel application or BOWP? or they will refund themselves? And do we need to use webform for this as well?

For me, I received an email notifying me it was ready to download on the PR portal.

Yes, eCoPR is sufficient to extend, and to apply for (or change) SIN.

oh, thank you
Hope we don't have to change the Drivers License after getting PR
I really don't think so...drivers license shouldn't be impacted by PR.
But that reminded me that I should send my eCoPR to CRA for Canada Child Benefit (CCB)...

Thanks !! I haven't done that yet, since my photo hasn't been approved. Only my solemn declaration and address. Oh, that sucks, I haven't recieved my AOR for TR-PR. How long did it take for you to get that money back ?

I got the portal email today.

AOR: Aug 5 ( 2 dependents ) all inland.
Medical : Sep 10 ( upfront )
Bio: old from 2019

No clue on GU as application was with lawyer, but BG check still shows processing.
Almost 4 months since AOR. Hope everyone gets their portal, credentials and e COPR soon.
Congrats. Please keep updated on the timeline for receiving the credentials. May I ask you one thing which email do you need to reply to get the credentials? TIA

Hello All,
yesterday afternoon I received an email saying my application has been updated. I logged on to see an overall status update, but no individual status updates, instead there was a Response Letter for each ( 1 applicant, 3 dependents). Here it stated the following:
The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the
following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if
applicable, permanent residence visa.

There are details regarding the steps, e.g. send in passport copies and photos, as well as return envelope, which I hope to complete today.

I did not receive any GU’s, and as mentioned none of the other status have changed (see signature for details).

This might be a portal email. Did they ask for your address confirmation, etc?

Reply to the same portal email with details
I can now be sure that the reason I got portal email is due to a pop up in my application. My PR application has been dead since Sep after medical pass ( AOR AUG 5).Actually along side my PR application I was also processing dependent permits for my dependent’s. These dependent permits were processed by my employer and my lawyer on the other hand was processing our PR.

Yesterday my employer got portal email on his email for one of my dependent and after few hours my lawyer got portal email for me and other dependent. My employer was processing my dependent permits since July 2021. I feel yesterday the visa officer got a chance to process my dependent’s permits and realised the same UCI is present in a PR application which is waiting to be approved.
My PR application is very straightforward where I was only showing Canadian experience and had pcc for the countries I worked in the past years. There was no changes in my medical or BG checks as many of the applicants had mentioned in this forum ( so called ghost updates or random changes in GC KEY).

Also when I had created my EE profile I had used my 11 years international experience and my CRS SCORE was 474, the cut off in which I had received ITA was 396 points. So my lawyer advised me to completely skip my international experience and just show Canadian experience in the work history section and show all the international experience in personal history section. ( the boring forms that we all had filled before we submitted our application). Doing this for my score down to 419 which was way above the cut off in which I had got ITA.

I have mentioned all this to clarify some questions that I had seen in this forum regarding work experience points.

My apologies for such a long post during weekend but I hope we all can share some personal experience in this forum to easy out some stress we all are in due to misinformation.

Be positive guys as my Lawyer has said “ no news is good news from IRCC “ lol

take care
