Im curently on mat leave and I’m sponsoring my dad, mom and brother from QC. I sent all the documents (financial for 2020) and an employment letter stating i will resume work in 12 months to immigration QC. But i received a letter « intention of refusal » where they said i didn’t submit all the required documents and ask to resubmit all the financial documents but for 2021. Like they are asking for the 2021 T4, notice of assessment and all the documents in the checklist. How am i suppose to provide a 2021 T4 we still on November? Also, will they consider my revenue during the Maternity leave or just the normal income?
Has anyone experience something similar?
I have already called them but the agent said i have to wait a week to get an answer
Thanks for the help, I’m freaking out
I'm in a similar situation as you (I didn't work part of the year). I applied for CSQ on Nov 1 and haven't heard anything back yet. 2021 income doesn't make any sense. Perhaps they need previous years? I don't think they should consider your mat leave income. The letter from your employer should state your regular income and income earned until now this year. That should suffice. Keep us updated when you hear back from them.

Hi, are there any applicants from Quebec?

Does anyone know if we need to mail CSQ to our parents, would they need to present this to the immigration officer upon arrival?

Many thanks!
My understanding is that MIDI mails CSQ to the sponsor and sends a copy to IRCC. IRCC also requested PA (my dad) to email them CSQ copy. I don't think it's needed for landing.

Hello,

We received a letter to submit biometrics last week, my father is currently in Canada

As per Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugees Protection Act (“the Act”), in order for you to receive permanent residence an officer must be satisfied that both you and your applicable family members are not inadmissible and meet the requirements of the Act.
Furthermore, Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act states that: “A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.”

In order to assess your eligibility and admissibilities, an officer has deemed the following as required:
> Fingerprints: You are now required to submit Biometrics as you previously departed Canada since the submission of this application. Please follow the Biometrics instruction letter previously sent to you. You have 30 days from the date of the instruction letter to complete the requirement.
This must be received at this office by: *******

We have submitted the biometrics from service Canada yesterday.

Now do I need to send the proof of bio-metrics/biometric ID etc to IRCC or it gets uploaded automatically?

Thanks

You don't need to send the proof. It gets updated the same day on the portal.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can advise me. I am sponsoring my parents and my brother since 2019. I recently received an email asking for an updated background declaration form. At the beginning, my brother entered as student as he was attending university. However, he took some time off from study and the pandemic here and he hasn't been back to school and he is not working. He hasn't been to school since late 2019. I am wondering if he should be entering student or unemployed under employment? Any advice is much appreciated. THANKS
Do you mean you brother is in Canada and is not studying since late 2019? Did he extend his status as visitor? If not he is out of status, staying illegally in Canada. .....

Unless he has a work permit or is in imply status of applying another study or work permit.

Hello all, my parents were asked to send their PCC and CV. I read that there can be background checking if CV is requested. Wondering if anyone has encountered a similar situation? Seems it might take a while from 3 months to a year. Also, a confusing situation is my parents' visitor visa expired, do I need to extend their visitor visa or just wait for the immigration result? Thanks so much!

Hello, I want to get the PCC for my mother from Toronto/Brampton, In 2017 there was an option to get the PCC immediately from the India Consulate office from Toronto... is that option still available or we have to go through BFS India visa office only.

I applied for my parents PR in 2019. The 2nd medicals were done and passed on August 9, 2021. I haven't heard anything since then. Should I be worried?
Do I need to proactively submit PCC again?
The 2nd medicals were not updated in ecas unlike 1st medicals. I sent a webform end of August but haven't heard back. When I called CIC, I was not able to get to the agent. Thanks!
Is anyone in the similar boat as me? I am not sure what to expect as next steps. I got a generic response back for my webform request.
Did anyone get a second PCC request?
