PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Hi everyone!
IRCC sent me an email saying that they started processing my application for renewal on OCT 21st, no updates since. I spoke with our MP they said card was been processed.... this has been over a week now. Has anyone been in this situation? How long did it take for you to receive it?

Toronto here!!! I applied 14th of July, starting processing Oct 21st, no news since. Called MP they said card has been processed. This has been more than a week . Flying early December.

Permanent Resident Card Renewal

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 9, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 15, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on November 15, 2021.

Thank you what was the timeline after AOR that you got DM for PR card renewal. I just got my AOR today so am thinking it may take a day or two for ecas to update anything

It was 10 days, but I applied for urgent processing that I believe got approved since my application got received on November 5th, AOR November 5th and DM November 15th.

Hello all
I posted My PR renewal application on May 29
They received it on June 7
I received AOR on September 24
My status changed to DM on Oct 6
I received my PR card on Oct 21
It totally took less than 5 months.
Then do not worry they take it easier than before, but takes longer.

Got my eCOPR on June 24 and still waiting for the pr card. So frustrating.

I got my ecopr on Feb 4. No PR card yet.

Anyone waiting for their first PR card since around April 2021? After 13 months of waiting to get my PR application approved, can't believe I'm having to wait again to get the card. Is 6 months of waiting for the card even normal? The current processing time says 3 months.

Any advice on what I can do at this point?

I am waiting from Feb 4. Sent the application again on Oct 4.

Same situation with me. I had not received any updates from the portal or any emails, my MP said they have approved my application for pr card but no more news about if it’s been sent to production or anything else

I received my PR card this morning by mail.

Below are my timelines for renewal again:

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on July 5, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 5, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on November 5, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on November 9, 2021.

Application Status is Complete as of November 10, 2021.
Card received November 15, 2021.

What is your location. My status shows that they have sent the pr card by mail on NOV 10 but I havent received it yet.

Photo and Address approval: Aug 10, 2021
Until now (Nov 16, 2021), I still have no update about my PR card on GCKey.

IRCC is tricky that they may ignore the August approved PR.

Oh okay don't worry about that .. I think you should be good as long as you met your residency obligations and have no flags .. it should quick and simple ... But its also IRCC... we never know

What are some things that would be considered a "flag"? I feel like ours should be very simple, yet we are stuck in the 'in process' stage with no DM yet. All obligations have been met, and nothing out of the ordinary.
