I applied today. Trying for biometric appointment.
Can you help me with information regarding medical?
I have not done medical upfront so how can we do after applying?

Submit application, you will get biometrics. but now its difficult to decide. to avoid multiple travels you can plan medicals the same day or next day of biometrics. Once you get biometrics slots check for medicals same time.. my parents did biometrics and medicals same day.. but you need to plan that way

Just call the nearest centre from list of approved centres. Tell them you need do upfront medical exam for parents. They will give you the next details. Once done collect the emedical tracking sheet and upload via webform, they will link, but takes time...

Ok is there any success bcoz biometric appointment will be after a month asper availability.
So want to finish medical if it works

Dont upload emedical tracking sheet now then, once biometrics are done you can upload. anyways centres/clinic takes 5-10 days to transmit medicals to IRCC.. so then you should be good

I opened GCkey account to apply for supervisa for MIL. But I am only shown option for visit visa when I fill up the questionnaire. There is no super visa option. Can someone please let me know where can I apply for supervisa. I followed the process from cic website but still only shows visit visa option. Thanks in advance.

You chose the wrong options probably.

1. How long are you planning to stay in Canada? -- choose Temporarily - more than 6 months
2. How are you related to your family member? -- choose Child/Grandchild.

Thank you so much. That solved the issue. If I am not wrong you are from Bangladesh. Should we be doing upfront medicals for supervisa? And did your parents do it from Dhaka? Can you suggest location and process to get upfront medicals? Sorry for asking so many questions.

That’s correct. Upfront medicals are optional, it may speed up the process but that’s not guaranteed. In Dhaka, we prefer Wahab Medical Practice at Baridhara.

Hello...as i am resubmitting the file for parents supervisa when i get asked for UCI number should i put the one they have from their previous supervisa application or leave it blank as that application is not processed yet.? and for that previous application should i withdraw it or it will automatically be withdrawn after i submit the new one.?

Yes, you put the UCI generated from previous supervisa application. That will pickup any past biometric and attach with the new application. You don't need to withdraw yourself, it will be withdrawn if the new one gets processed earlier.

Do the parents need a police clearance certificate to be done from a passport office for the super visa? Or is it not required?

Biometric submitted 11-Aug, For Co-applicant it shows "Biometric Completed". For Primary applicant it shows biometric ID, date and expiry, but under the status it says "please submit biometric, per request letter". This is the status since 11-Aug-21. No update ever since! I thought this might be a glitch was the case with my PR appl and my in-laws visitor visa appl. Thoughts or relevant experiences?
