I am applying for citizenship application. I got my police certificates from other countries and Canada a few weeks ago. I want to know whats the validity of these certificates? I am Planning to apply within a few days/week. Are these valid for like 6 months or less?
Yes, a PCC is valid for six months from the date it is issued. But it is also valid if you have not returned to that country since it was issued (this could be years). Either one is OK.
The more common question about PCCs for citizenship is when does a PCC need to be submitted, and for which countries. If you follow the instructions for question 10.b) you should have no problem figuring that out. In general (but read and follow the instructions for yourself), a PCC only needs to be submitted for a country in which the citizenship applicant spent 183 days (six months) or more in a row during the four years preceding the date the citizenship application is made; and there are exceptions to this, so again follow the instructions for question 10.b) to determine which country,
if any, you need to provide a PCC for.
They are valid as long as you don't go back for 6 months or more to the countries for which you obtained PCCs.

For citizenship, from the guide (verbatim):
To be valid, the police certificate must be either issued
after the last time you were in that country, or
no more than 6 months before the date you sign your citizenship application
Phrased otherwise: a PCC for citizenship is valid if you have NOT traveled to that country since the PCC was issued (length of presence not relevant). Even if you have traveled back to that country since the PCC was issued, it is still valid for six months from date it was issued.
