How long does R10 take btw?
In good times it takes about few weeks. Basically if you got your BIL or MEP, you have very likely to have reached R10 and that used to be pretty fast before pandemic. These days, worst ones I have seen are in several (like 8-9) months. One guy has been waiting on implied status since Jan 2020 or so and got his BOWP in Jan/Feb 2021. Meaning he got his R10 around Nov/Dec 2020 and then his BOWP got processed. @legalfalcon can comment more on it.

shit weather yes but why didn't consider the England long ago? we are safe here. I'd say even the illegal immigrants are safer here than they are in their own countries. And london is the most shittiest. the countryside english grasslands will make folks feel home and far away from the world problems.
I didn't consider it when I first left my home country (for no particular reason). It's too late now. I plan on getting a few years exp in IT, because apparently that's the only field that is allowed to immigrate.

In USA, politics is entrenched with entertainment it seems. People enjoy being political. So every god damned thing is too political to be touched and immigration is one of the hottest one. Their elections are like an episode out of 24 or something. There is election in Canada too... its boring. I mean this election was the most exciting one in decades IMHO but it does not even hold a candle to even the least controversial election in the USA. This is why Canada can still make some kind of decisions about their immigration.
Lol, Canada elections are like a tea party. You mainly know only about the PM candidates. maybe a few MP. In the US there is like 550 federal elect politicians and each one is a clown. Making ads is a business and it has to be eye catching. So its all to exaggerated. It feels like for americans, everything needs to be a show full of drama. probably problems with attention span.

I do not have much experience in politics of other countries but beyond USA the only bigger shit show is election from my home country : India.

Then we have likes of Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. No politics, no elections, ONLY HABIBI!

I challenge your election shit show, with the one we have here in the Philippines. Coming 2022.

Canadian employers do not trust outside experience usually.

Canadian employers:
- Typically 50-200 employees
- Just a few clients, no need for mass-production
- Haven't seen a single large scale global project involving multiple countries, clients, offices

Then they go: "Do you have Canadian experience?"

Bitch do you know how real life projects are carried out? It's different than what you do in your small Toronto or Vancouver startup office with your 50 employees to finish up the 20 orders you received to be delivered in 3 months. Now I wouldn't trust experience gained in Canada because they most likely haven't seen a single global project. Pathetic...

I'm tired of elections. I really hope I leave brazil before our federal election next year. A promise I made is cut myself off from most politicized content in all social media after I finally immigrate out and relax for 2 years at least.

Well... in a true blue Canadian company you are Company's pet....
In a true blue US company, you are a cattle in Company's farm.
