- Refused due to purpose of visit (same as 1st application)
- Public college

#2: Applied on Aug 7
- Biometrics and Medical Exam from previous application (Feb 2021 / Oct 2020)
- Status changes: unknown
- Study permit approved on Oct 15 (processed in 68 days - Bogota, Colombia)

Lol again this is just speculation to entertain us in our long dreadful wait haha, I'd rather they just issue PPR as and when a decision is made to clear their backlogs :p

But i think the pattern you see is really just a coincidence lol
Haha. Well, with IRCC I always think everything opposite of logical coz thats exactly what they do. Like seriously some of the things they complain can be easily fixed!

August 23-24 (the two rejections, and applicant who only received medical update)

So do they wait until they get a certain number of applicants and then update PPR??
I've read in one of the groups that current trend of everything getting updated is what is approved. Everyone who had their medicals updated with nothing else is rejection but they release it slowly as they don't want to create panic among masses and also they don't want people to reapply quickly as it increases their work load.

Take this info with pinch of salt as with everyone else its only speculations.

Lets really hope that is not the case, this would really be a terrible approach from IRCC. Remember, in my earlier application, decision was taken in 4 days but they waited 1.5 months to release the info to me so there is a possibility of this being true.

@yesWeCanada

Check the GCMS notes this applicant received on below link. This is what I was referring to as based on specific individual profile and not generic.

I read it now. I think IELTS is low and choice of program is not in progression. Funds was also the reason.
This is why I think my consultant did not want to take chances and attached details that would make my tie back home stronger like CA and other certificates. We used a proper SOP writer, actually SOP structure creator to be honest. Every word in my SOP is mine but just placed in proper places.
I feel looking at all the refusal reasons and other aspects I feel confident but no way assured or clear that it will be positive result. So I am banking this completely on luck looking at how IRCC is processing.
Also, what was your point again?! Sorry :)

Oops, sorry thought you would recall our convo in earlier thread. You mentioned about how VO would simply use the same template for everyone in comments as they cant do it individually for every applicant? That's where I said they actually are suppose to make comments based on individual profile and not just copy/paste of immigration laws. Just wanted to show an example of how some VO write details clearly so they can work on improving their file.

I did, but I think they write detailed notes only when asked for them and not when the decision is made. I mean think about it, write up for all the applications in detail! You showed the GCMS notes which is on request basis and hence requires detailed notes. But who knows what they are doing there.
By template I mean they select some options on some screen so that it creates a short notes for us when we get the mail.
I wish there was some where we could find these info. Let me try and find it on youtube :)

All GCMS notes are provided on request basis only as these cases are closed after sending final decision and cannot be edited. Some VO take the time to write details others don't. I so much wish they write details so you know exactly where the problem is. Thats the whole point of requesting the notes and not just to get copy paste of laws which I can easily find without waiting for so long.

I agree, my counter argument to this detailed notes is that, why dont they send the detailed notes when they send the rejection email? Why do we have to ask for the details in a separate action? That is the most puzzling part here. And the most unfair thing done by IRCC. If they have the notes why not send to us the first time?
Seriously, we know Canadian visa process is one of the best compared to US, but still it feels there are so many issues. Hope we get our PPRs my friends.
All hail the mighty God of Visa! :)

Agreed. They'd better send the notes along with the rejection mail. We can suggest to them when filling the questionnaire.
