We received your application for permanent residence on March 12, 2020.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 13, 2021.
We started processing your application on September 26, 2021.
Why there is long time between receipt of application and starting processing it, so they start processing my application few days ago after 19 months of waiting?

they did not request any documents before they started processing it?

then that is reason why it took so long for them to start processing your application, because it was incomplete when it was received.

ircc during covid started processing criminality as soon as the application is received and even before the process starts. Now that the process started, it means that your file has been finally assigned to an officer.
did you inform ircc that you got married and that you want to add your wife to your application? and yes it does delay the processing of your application but it always depend on the officer processing your pr. also, it can't be processed separately.
