I think there is more CEC activity currently. Just wait till FSW will restart, we will see a huge shit storm in the groups and this forum

Are people really stuck pre biometrics request? For some reason I was thinking people are mostly stuck without updates after giving biometrics.

Yes this most official announcement we have related to clearing the backlog. Hopefully some instruction has been given and the offices are working accordingly. Its again irritating that IRCC wont share with us what the instruction was immediately. They are waiting for ATIP request.

I do understand how difficult it is. Similar situations are happening all the time in our live. Just be patient ;) I have change my approach to this situation. We were in a deep s*** for a long time with the whole pandemic etc. It is ending, things are getting netter all over the world :) just be patient ;) find some new hobby, learn new skills etc. Do not check every day what is happening ;)
