Hi guys,
I have an old employer have been trying to reach for reference letter but so far they're not responding. It's a small firm just starting out.
Is it advisable to remove them from my list of job experiences, and just stick with the my current employer.

I have 2 years work experience with my current employer and they're all the same NOC?

I received a NOI from Alberta on 2 Mar. I've submitted by documents online, paid the fees and was assigned a file number, Fingers crossed and praying for a positive outcome.

If it doesn't change your NOC, your CRS or your eligibility, it's fine.
Probably, just for safety, it's nice to have a LOE explaining the change in your AINP application
