I don’t think there is any way of knowing. We just have to keep waiting for AOR. From the information on this thread, it could take up to 8-11months to receive AOR. I’m right behind you, I submitted my application in February, still waiting for AOR.
No there's a way i guess, just check the tracking number which a courier company gave it to you, it will show you that someone have receive your application. I sent on 17th of april and they received it on 22nd of april with a receiver name.
cheers

Hi, there, can anybody advise me what it is going on? Here is a recent Gnote and timeline.

My application is in Etobicoke. I got PAL in Aug/11 and confirmed Security is in progress in Aug/12. Nothing after that.
I received GCMS note. They extended my medical from Feb/2022 to Aug/2022 in Sep/13. Why did they extend my medical? It still has time to Feb/2022.
and I don't understand this sentence. What does it mean? Thanks,

"Should the applicant not land before the expiry of the medical, a new IME will be required. Please pick-up this IME number again in order to update the medical validity on the application"

Some updates from my application:
1 - Got ADR on August 10th, waited for RCMP criminal record check, but since my deadline was approaching, submitted the partial response on September 7th. They processed my documents within a week and on the 15th another request for more information;
2 - RCMP criminal record check took 4 weeks as they (RCMP) stated (requested on August 13th), received mine today and sent it to IRCC;
3 - Finally received PAL, I am still not sure if I am gonna have to do medical or not (maybe the one we did on 2017 is still valid);

I have updated my signature, I am happy that at least my application is moving!

There is news about BOWP (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/extend-permit/bridging-open-work-permit.html) it wasn't announced anywhere but looks like they removed the requirement that the current WP has to expire in the next 4 months.
It allowed me to file my online application for BOWP despite my current job-specific WP is valid for more than 4 months.

It could be useful for those who are inside and tethered to their current employer and wait for PR still.
I applied for BOWP, will see how it will work.

The proof that it was the requirement of 4 months you can check with way back machine -

it is strange that they didn't announce it anyhow. It was definitely a stupid requirement and had to be fixed in current circumstances. Well, they did but didn't highlight it.
