Non-Express Entry(PNP) Online Applications Gather here

Hey guys,

Had two questions about applying for the two-year closed work permit. (My current PGWP expires December 2021)

I've already applied for my PR in July using the new online portal after getting my non-express entry PNP (employer job offer: student stream) from Ontario. But there is no receipt or anything as of yet which means it's likely not checked yet.

1. As per the nomination approval letter, I have to provide a receipt or show that the PR application has been received in my closed work permit application. What do I do in this case?
2. Can I still apply for a closed work permit even if I've submitted my PR application already?

Yes, you can apply for a closed work permit, without any issues with the PR and Work visa and not in relation to your case.

I have first applied for a closed work permit and then for the pr, but I know cases that have applied for pr and then for a closed work permit.

Hey, I have applied a day earlier and yes, I have noticed a time stamp as well.

Great. Lets keep each other posted about how it goes. Some people are reporting AOR in around 4 months after application through the portal. However I guess each case is different. Patience is key.

I also misread the work permit support letter. It says you only need an AOR for the PR application if your nomination letter is expired. So I should have no problem applying for the closed work permit.

When you applied, did your employer only pay the compliance fee or did they have to post the job offer as well?

Hi, Although I have a biometrics, it did not appear in the applicant information section after my PR application. Does it come there automatically after being reviewed with the UCI number? Because in some of my friend's application it is seen after the application

They just paid the compliance fee

Just a simple conformation that his application is submitted no case number or anything
It's a new update on the website

I think you're right. They have probably changed the portal a bit recently so it sends an email once the application is submitted.

Well he got the AR which none of us had recieved when we submitted ours. Therefore, I would like to k if the system has been updated that ppl gets AR right after they submit the applications. But thanks for the clarifications

Yeah, they updated the system since the last time we uploaded our applications. Appreciate it man, gl with ur application
