Can I re-enter Canada?

Hello Everyone,

I am probably repeating this question here. Just wanted to make sure that legally am I okay to re-enter Canada from Mexico using my work permit and TRV? I am working in tech industry, are only travellers from US with work permits are allowed or it's considered essential irrespective of the country?

You're fine to re-enter. If it's an open work permit, make sure you can prove you have a job in Canada if you are traveling before September 7th.

I am on work permit and my wife is in open work permit. We are planning to travel in October. I believe, her current pay statements, offer letter, and proof of residence/driving license should be good?

Yes, I think that should be more than enough.

Since you are traveling after Sept 7th, then you may not even need all of this as long as you are both fully vaccinated with a vaccine that is recognized / approved by Canada.
