What is your timeline from oath to passport app to receiving passport?

So my oath was July 27th.
I went to the passport office on Aug 6th and they said they are full for the day and put me on a list for calls to schedule an appointment. ( I have a travel date on Sep 1st)
Received a call on Aug 9 and I was given an appointment on Aug 20th.
I submitted my application on Aug 20th and paid 50 $ extra for express service. I was given the date of the Aug 27th for pick up.
Went and picked up my passport on Aug 27th.

So then, walk-ins are possible, depending on the availability of slots

Hi Shivaay, I see you are above me on the excel tracker and also have very similar timelines and location. Have you received any updates if you were able to reach the call center?

No still waiting.. i even filled out webform to change address but no updates been 25 days now.

I also got fingerprint request 2 weeks ago..and from where I got my fingerprints done..He said now a days RCMP is taking 4-6 weeks to send the info to IRCC. And on my dashboard also I am seeing the same thing, last updated on 19 August.

Does everybody get a request for finger prints for citizenship application processing ?

I applied for citizenship in mid of Sept 2020 and in the online tracker, it says my application was received on December and they started processing it.
The status of my application is In progress, two weeks ago, I've been asked to give my fingerprints, I already did and asked them to send them to Montreal immigration office. In my tracker now it says last updated 19 August but I don't see any updates, still everything is In progress and nothing new written in the history.
Same here I applied in September 20 2020, online profile shows January 21 . i received my fingerprints request around 19 July and profile updated on Aug 23 that they received it .

It seems really depends on the case, the office, because even if you apply before or after there is no logic how to your application is processed. So maybe in September my file will updated with new info.

According to what they said to me, it may two weeks for IRCC office in mtl to get it, but it seems they take time to open the mail or to update their system.

I contacted IRCC to ask about my application via Webform, and this is what I got:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

In order to respond to a high volume of enquiries related to the crisis in Afghanistan, we have needed to shift resources in our Client Support Centre. This will impact our ability to respond to some of your enquiries.

We will respond to these priority enquiries only:

· Clients who need to tell us about a change in their circumstances, which has a direct impact on their application (like marriage, birth of a child, or similar)
· Clients who are submitting documents requested by one of our officers
· Changes in contact information
· Requests to withdraw an application or refunds

If your enquiry is NOT one of the priority enquiries listed above, you will not receive a reply.
