Hello,

My parents Visa is valid for about 3 more month to enter Canada. When I checked application process time to apply for a new Visa, it said 650 days.... so disappointing.

I was wondering if they could still visit me if they are just going to stay for maximum 3 weeks, and will leave prior to expiry?

Thank you for your help!

Yes, they can visit as long as their TRVs are valid. The TRV only determines when they can travel to Canada - not how long they can stay.

How long they are allowed to remain in Canada will be determined by the CBSA officer at the border. Generally speaking, visitors are typically allowed a six month stay.
