Hello friends I recently received ircc web portal to confirm I am in Canada on my pnp application. Regrettably I am not in Canada and I have informed Cic. I lost my job and was on a closed work permit. Do you guys think CIC will finalize the pr application from my country of birth? I have applied for paper application since 2018 and I lost my job in 2020.

You'll have to wait and see what happens.

If your PNP application wasn't dependent on your employer or having a job offer, there should be no issue. If it was, then that could be an issue.

If you did not tell IRCC you lost your job when you got the portal email maybe they will send your a passport request
