Look I'm tired of trolling here let's just talk facts and logics only.
So we all know that IRCC has met its annual target this year, if we count landed immigrants. Any draw now will contribute to targets in 2022 or 2023. So what's preventing them from inviting abroad immigrants in 2022 or 2023? Nothing so far can explain that well. The covid excuse can only explain not PROCESSING FSW, since in 2020 when covid was way more serious, they still had FSW draws in Dec. I can only think of there might be some internal memo / plans sort of things within IRCC, that tells them not to conduct FSW draw.
You have spoken logically. Personally, I think the same internal memo that mandates them to pause processing also requires them to stop draws. You know if they have to conduct draws that means they have to immediately start processing those new applications that get submitted. They probably don’t want such a situation. I’m just hoping that after the border reopens they will re-prioritize things

The don't want to have to spend already limited resources on new FSW apps yes; and that's because, as we spoke before, IRCC must focus on turning as many CECs into PRs as possible before this year ends otherwise they'll miss targets. FSWs take longer and targets are at risk. So IRCC;

- Stopped focusing on processing FSW apps and started focusing on CEC apps AND
- Stopped conducting FSW draws and started conducting CEC draws

Processing apps and conducting draws are TIED for FSWs as we can see here.

Can we go back to trolling now pls ty

You and me both bro. The way I was so fixated and ecstatic for July 21 like my heart was broken legit broken. I always boasted that i can never suffer heartbreak in this life like I’m too tough for that. Alas i didn’t know it won’t come from a guy but IRCC.

IRCC gave me my first heart break ever. I was served premium breakfast. If I swear for them well let me leave vengeance for God.

So inasmuch as I am hopeful for the future I will NEVER put my mind on any date as that will just be heartbreak 2.0. Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice?? shame of me o. I can’t abeg. My fragile heart is still healing from part 1.

ps: if they don’t behave soon people will start entering shrine on their behalf lmaooo. Just kidding.
What happened on 21st July? I'm sorry I'm out of the loop.

Err whats with the surveys suddenly popping up everywhere?? Been visiting govt of ca/ ircc site for well over a year now and today-now was the 1st time iv seen and completed some stupid 3 minute survey on my experience. Did they just hire new reputation managers/fixers?
Is this new?

Desperate attempts at fixing their shattered reputation. I'm expecting them to publish false results and make it look like the public is actually happy with their policies. They've got very good at lying so I wouldn't be surprised.

Best way to fix their reputation is to actually get down to work, not some ridiculous survey mails
True. It makes me think IRCC's intention is not to actually fix their reputation and the system, rather just lie more for a pathetic attempt at finding a shortcut. That'd be so JT's IRCC.

I am planning on gifting myself a steam deck when i land in canada because sadly my gaming rig stays in my home country
Steam Deck won't be bad but it's going to be so expensive due to shortages and all. The highest end is about $650 but estimated date of delivery is so far and uncertain. People will cop a lot of it and sell at higher price than what Valve sold it to them. Covid is a b*tch.

Have seen the Onexplayer and AYA Neo? I like those, I'm super-interested to see how they run the AAA games. Seen a couple of videos on YT but they are all prototypes. I have learnt not to trust prototypes but the real thing.

Covid has been the lame excuse but it’s now getting ludicrous. I foresee multiple lawsuits getting filed against them after Sept/Oct if nothing changes
Yinmu lol. They will go to court and tell the judge it's due to covid. Believe me, they will have a case because the judge himself couldn't attend to in-court cases. It's just unfortunate.
