Hello
I wish to ask regarding sponsorhip of my brother. I am single, and alone here in Canada. I have a 25 year old brother, and I wish for him to come here. Currently I meet the elibility criteria to sponsor 1 person, how can I get a sponsorship from him? i have recently heard that we can sponsor any relative if we donot have a family member here in Canada. can someone please guide me regarding it.

Thank you

If both of your parents are deceased, then it sounds like you would likely qualify to sponsor your brother.

My father recently passed. my mother is alive. she will be getting her supervisa soon, so we want that the entire family move to canada to me.

actually he is still 2 years away from his graduation as electrical engineer and i was hoping by the time he graduates he gets his process done and come directly to me.

In that case it is not possible for you to sponsor your brother. He will have to qualify on his own through an economic immigration program like Express Entry or PNP.

It's not possible unfortunately.

He will either have to qualify for PR on his own through an economic immigration program. Or he can also consider coming to Canada on a study permit after he graduates to complete further education in Canada as an international student - and then see if he can qualify for PR once he has studies and work experience in CAnada.

hmm thanx guys. thank you so much
Look at Express Entry and see if he will be eligible for it after one year of continuous, skilled work experience. What province do you live in? He may get additional points for certain provinces under the PNP programs. Your mother is on a super visa so is not moving to Canada. She is still a visitor.
