Only if you on Walfare income It will affects your application but still you can ask for exemption if you have reasonable excuse like you take care of your kids or watch over your older parents I know something reasonable answer and also
As long you paying taxes every year and working you should be good even you make less then $5000 a year It means you earning
Some of the lawyer think it’s not a big deal It just emailed inform you
your case is still in process but if you call your lawyer they will let you know what’s going on with your file
it’s very positive it means your application in process The only way you can find out just wait for an answers or other email

Disagree with this. Earning a minimal amount, needing subsidized housing, receiving welfare will all be considered in H&C applications. For H&C applications they really want to see that your family will be actively participating in the economy especially if you are of working age. Not impossible to get approved if you are not working but you would need very strong reasons for H&C if you were going to require subsidies/welfare.
As long as you are not on welfare or any government assistance, you are fine. You better don’t miss the opportunity of your subsidized housing if you got approved. I have been on subsidized hydro in ON since 2018 up til now, I applied for subsidized housing too but still on waiting list. Are u going to tell them or your lawyer is going to tell them that your house or apartment is subsidized? The rent of the subsidized housing is even still higher in ON than normal rent in some other provinces. As long as you are working, you are not on OW, u re paying ur taxes, u re paying ur rent whether subsidized or not and you are contributing to ur community in terms of volunteering, ur kids are attending schools and participating in programs. Ur H&C wil be approved
Posting a general comment. Not sure how you got subsidized housing given your lack of status but in general there are wait lists of years if not longer for many properties. In general for working age adults H&C applications want you to show how you will support your family financially longterm and how you will be a benefit to the economy versus a drain. There are of course some exceptions but in general showing that you will be an economic benefit is important in H&C applications.
Their H&C was already denied. Assume they will apply again so if they want to strengthen their application showing no financial reliance and a consistent work history now and for the future would be very beneficial.
