Hi folks,

My friend submitted his PR package in March, 2021, and he has not received his File number yet. In the meantime, he found some mistakes on the form upon his dependent's schedule a. He mistakenly missed to fill out the one of the activity sections (should be written as Studying) (all others filled without empty). He was so shocked and tried to reach the IRCC, and he just sent an webform attaching the revised form.

Do you guys think that his package will be returned not accepting the webform request?
The package has not been returned yet.

I don't think so - applications seem to be returned when forms are completely missing, not filled out at all or haven't been signed.

If AR is March 2021, they won't receive AoR until January/February 2022 at this stage.

I am very new to the forum - looking for different options to immigrate to Canada. Have been following many blogs and forums but this is the best.

Since I am outside of Canada - and have never been to Canada before (for studies and work) - I guess this is the best route to apply - even though it is quite competitive route.

Is there any URL where I can see the NOC codes for which OINP nominations have been extended under Employer Job Offer - Foreign Worker Stream.

Also can anyone pls share how the "Invitation to Apply" email from OINP Employer Job Offer - Foreign Worker Stream looks like in case anyone received it recently?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

I'm new here. May I know how did you apply for this stream? Is it through the EOI portal already? Was it paper-based or completely online?
I just got my ITA through the OINP EOI Portal. I am just trying to manage my expectation on the process and the timeline itself. If I understand the process correctly, I just have to submit everything online. I'm having a hard time finding people who get through the same process since it was just launched this year. And am hoping that the processing time is faster now than before.

Thanks!

Hi,
regarding the following ;

  • demonstrate that enough effort was made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident prior to offering the position to you (this only applies if you are currently living outside Canada or working outside of Ontario)
I am in canada and currently work in a skill B job so does that mean my employee doesnt require to perform this step.?
I work as IT professional so would my employee qualify or does it have to be specialized occupations?
I do not see anything about them requiring LMIA.

Thanks.

If you're already in Canada and working for the employer on a work permit, then no you don't need to do the above.

I am on an open work permit and not LMIA.
My occupation is not on a high demand list what if i get a job offer (non lmia) for a year. (such as a 1 year work contract)
Would i still be able to apply to this pnp?

I'm not sure what you're asking here - if your job offer is in NOC codes 0, A, or B and it's permanent full time, then you are eligible for the program. They do not care what kind of work permit you hold, as long as you are holding a valid one for your current employment arrangement.

Note that you need to express interest now, it's not a simple apply like it used to be so maybe start there first.

Lets say my current work permit is expired or I am on visitor status and am applying to this program or my current work permit expires when I am nominated I will then receive a work permit support letter and when I apply for this work permit I will be on implied status? while waiting for decision?

Implied status is only permit to permit - so if your work permit has expired and you are on a visitor status - you will not get implied status.

You would get implied status only if you are currently on a valid work permit, and have applied for a new work permit.
