Hello Everyone,
I just got the Passport Request letter (PPR) for my 2-year-old child today. So I can say that applications in New Delhi VO are moving at a better pace, as I had received an Invitation for ''pre-arrival services'' on 28th July ( 8 days ago).

Que: Did Anyone, who send their Passport to the New Delhi Visa office, got stamped? I would request if someone could share their experience.
I just wanted to know the time VO takes to revert.
Not sure if the New Delhi visa office is operational, as they are not picking the phone, and over email, there are standard replies.

Hi I too got Passport Request for my child today from NDVO after Pre-arrival on 28 July 2021.
I think we need to fill the webform for 2-way passport courier.
Any idea how many days do they take for the pickup and delivery back?

Guess this is how we need to send passport: Source VFS website

Passport submission service via 2-way courier for all categories will commence from 19th Jul 2021 at 11 am IST.

• Clients who receive a passport submission letter need to fill the passport submission webform
• In Person submission of passport at Visa Application Centre is strictly prohibited.
• Please note that you will need to allow up to 14 days for the return of your stamped passport once delivered to High Commission

RPRF does not apply for dependent children of a sponsor (or indeed to many dependent children):

Got my PPR for my son. But I can submit for next 15 days as my son TRV stamping is in process and passport is with VFS.

Finally, Received Passport request letter (PPR) for my daughter on 5th August 21.
It is indicated in email that, if you are already in Canada, you need not to submit your passport and inform us through a webform for virtual landing.
I am really not sure about this process and would like to know more about this, How it will move further ?

I remember seeing a dedicated thread for this. Don't have the link, but a search on this website should take your there. I remember people discussing the detailed steps to get it done.

I have also received the Passport Request for my son. We are inland applicants and I am not sure how this process will go. The letter also says that if we are currently in Canada, we need to submit the webform within 5 days of receipt of the PPR.

I tried to look for the threads but got no luck.

If anyone has more information about Virtual Landing and Passport Request for an Inland dependant child, it would be great if you could please share the details.

HI, I have raised a webform indicating my daughter is in Canada.
Probably this is a evolved process now. Previously they were asking to submit passports in Ottawa VO but now they are not.
So mostly we will get a call for Virtual landing in nearest office (For me, it will be Etobicoke) and then within a week, they will issue COPR and after submission of photos, they will process PR card.

Hi Himu,
for PPR it depends on case to case basis. I have noticed here that after Pre-arrival, there have been people who got their PPR within 1-5 weeks.

- For one of my friend's child (1 year old) who had applied for Dependent child PR (in Feb 2021), 2 months before me, he got 'Pre-arrival services email in 1st week of July, but now his application status has changed from 'Decision made' to 'In Progress'.
- In my case, I have just received PPR for my child (2+ years), i.e, 8 days after getting the 'pre-arrival services'. I really don't know, what worked in my case.
So keep your fingers crossed

Can anyone share, the relevant link of the forum to follow after PPR.
I have already filled the VFS Passport submission webform, but it has been 24 hours since I haven't received the Payment link yet.
