Hi, All Family applicants. Looks like, though our application is almost closed our children application stays in in process and that is blocking our ceremony. Any reasons for this? And anyone aware of what should be done in this case?

Your children's application won't block your ceremony. Children under 14 don't have to take the test, submit language proof nor have to attend oath ceremony so their statuses will remain In Progress. What matters is the status of the adults in the application.

They are brining 1000s of refugees from Afghanistan. Just today the first plane arrived. So, more delays to be expected. Before that they gave ways to Hong Kong people to apply for refuge in Canada. In other words, with their limited capacity, we are hardly a priority to them, especially we don't make a fuss in the media for them.

Priority is to import immigrants to show the target numbers on yearly count.
Already landed immigrants are left out and got caught in the middle as they are already here and that too they are not citizens anyway to show any urge in serving them. So no motive or yearly target or any objective to do anything.

I still dont see PR count is an issue. They go by yearly application intake quota hence wont be impact us. Its just no motive/objective/need to serve us without delay.

Refugees make media fuss to Canada which depicts it as a leader in human rights. IRCC will give them priority over us, and our applications will be pushed back in the queue of applications to be processed. Our applications will be affected because presumable the same staff are processing our applications. So, if our applications were to be finalized in the next 3 months, now they will be finalized probably after 9-12 months.

Hello Guys, my family applied for citizenship, and we're currently waiting for our oath schedule, but one of my family member is in another province, I heard that the Oath taking is now in Zoom calls, anyone know if they allowed a 3-way zoom call?

No need for 3 way call. He/She will also get the email hence can join that link. if you get the link for all of them then you he/she can join using the same link.
All are inside Canada hence can join separately.

I applied 3 months before you, but we are in the same boat. I am stuck in the next step after the test since last April with no updates whatsoever
