Hi, everybody, I have a question if anyone can help. My Aor is of 28th Feb 2020. I raised webform in September and December of 2020 and in Feb of 2021. I received the same answer which is as follows:

Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
However, when I got the reply of a recently raised webform and got a reply on 31st July that:

The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements. We may contact you if additional information is required.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
  • The medical examination results on file are valid.
What does this mean? Why are they are reviewing my eligibility again? And what does medical examination result valid mean? Have my medicals been extended? The online portal is still not updated.

@legalfalcon your help will be much appreciated

Hi, sorry to hear but was kind of contemplating doing the same. Can you please share when you filed the application and how long it took for USCIS to notify you of the final decision? Were you asked to complete biometrics? Many thanks.

Hi All ,

my AOR is March 15th 2020.
the last update was medicals got updated in May 2021. There is no Update on my profile from Oct 1st 2020 onwards.
The background check has not started yet. Calls/webforms to CIC are useless , they provide no information.

i am a inland application with Dependent (Spouse).
My application is PNP (Ontario).

Anyone is in same boat as me.
Can we reach out to anyone ? I am tired at this point and planning to reapply EE are getting processed faster.
Any suggestions/Opinions ?

“valid” here indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant. See https://bit.ly/3CmMe23

The eligibility happens in 2 stages. Depending on what stage your eligibility was, the web form response was sent accordingly.

You do not have to. But if you do, it would be better.

Yes , there is no update on my application since Oct 2020.
AOR - March 15th 2020
I just finished a call with the CIC agent. Finally, he said that everything is passed and I just have to wait for the Final decision.

I insisted if he knew that if the application is pending decision since my spouse is outland and she cannot travel.
To which he said he has no insights into.

But hoping to hear a good news soon.

Btw, I am unable to login to CIC portal since morning, is anyone else facing the same? It lands me to the English or French page right when I click accept. I tried different browser and even different laptops

Ours was a change of status from h1b to b2 as there were no flights due to covid . We left the country before giving biometrics so it’s natural that it got denied ! :$
