Hi Everyone,
Is it a good idea to upload the COVID vaccination proof via a webform so that IRCC is aware of the same. I am fully vaccinated and hence the question.

@legalfalcon : Any thoughts on the same? Even though IRCC has not asked this, can we go ahead and inform IRCC about it? Do you see any benefits of doing this in terms of the processing of PR application?

Documents set for review: CLIENT INFORMATION

@legalfalcon

I have two questions
1)Based on the below assessment.do I need to worry about anything?
2)Once the client information document is reviewed by the Case office then only the eligibility gets passed in the below section. Is my understanding correct

Eligibility : passed
crim : passed
med:passed
info: complete
sec: blanck
AOR : DEC 2020

1. No. Just check the notes in the last 3-5 pages. If there are no notes or the only note you have pertains to R10, i.e. completeness check, you just have to wait for the eligibility to start. If your eligibility is passed or has been assessed by a case assistant or analyst, read it carefully to see what it contains.

2. See #4,004

To read on how to read GCMS notes, see https://bit.ly/2VbUXTY

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I see that you are very knowledgeable about visa so I was hoping I could ask you couple questions and get your advise.

I am happy to pay if that's the condition.

So my story is I am offshore, made ee as single and got noi from OINP. I submitted my documents yesterday. FYI ee was created about 10 months ago.

On intention to settle in Ontario letter, I did mention I would like to bring my gf once I get settled. I have finally convinced her enough so she might be interested in coming.

Now my question is, can I add her to my pr application?

My worry is that if I get married now and tell ontario I have a spouse, my ee point will decrease to below the minimum slurs for my draw on 27th July, so they might say I am not eligible anymore.

I read on other threads that I should wait for positive nomination and then add her when applying pr, but that would mean modifying ee and I am scared the nomination will be voided.

So what's the best course of action here for me? Also will adding spouse increase the time of processing? She has no ielts or education Accredited by Wes but probably get diploma at most, so adding her will definitely decrease my points.
Under the law, a girlfriend has no legal status and you cannot add her to your application. You have to be either in a common-law relationship or married for your partner/spouse to be added to the application.

Hi @legalfalcon ,
Maybe you can help me with my question:

AOR: September 9, 2020
Medical passed: October 2020

Principal Applicant biometrics exempt : provided in 2019 for visitor visa
And no request for biometrics for the dependant applicant yet!

In GCMS notes:
BIOMETRICS (for dependant)
Assessment: required
Info: Cancelled/ Error

Raised a couple of web-forms / called many times - standard reply "we still processing your application. we will let you know if we need something from you."

Is there any other way to solve this/ provide biometrics?

Do they continue to process the application without bio?

Thanks for the reply. So if I get married in a month or so, would it make my nomination invalid?

It would not, but your cRS score will be recalculated since your family composition changed before e-APR.

Hi
I've called CIC they told me that I do not need to list my co-op (which is part of my study program) separately in the personal history, and that is because the co-op falls into activity: study, as a student.
Her answer confuses me since it contradicting with some of the answers in the forum regarding the same issue.
I'm applying the Quebec skilled worker program...

Your AOR is Feb 2021. Most likely your eligibility should have been passed or recommended passed.

Send a webform or request your GCMS notes to see what stage your application is at.
Thank you for your prompt response. I have sent couple of webforms and called cic as well. Everytime I get the same response "we are processing your application".
My spouse name is also not reflecting on my gckey account. It's almost 3 months since I have submitted my spouse docs. Do I get anything to see on gcms notes about my spouse or my application status? If so I will go-ahead and apply for gcms.
Thank you.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

I posted this in the January 2020 AOR thread but wondering if you are able to help us here:

I am Canadian citizen. My wife applied for Express Entry and received AOR in January 2020.

Below are some details:
- CEC Inland
- CPC Ottawa
- Criminality Passed
- Medical Passed - Expired (but received note that it has been extended)
- Security - Not Started
- Eligibility - Review Required

We received a "procedural fairness" request for document in May 2020 since there was an issue with the employment letter's dates. We immediately provided the correct information and additional supporting documents and paystubs to show that my wife has been working for the required amount of time. The GCMS notes show that all the information has been received.

We also got married after the AOR. We provided my passport and our marriage certificate in web form to update the application.

According to GCMS notes, this is the last update to the application (prior to medical extension) in June 2020. We have been contacting IRCC and our local MP for further updates on why the application is stuck on eligibility and security screening. However, there has been no material movement according to the responses. I am wondering if you have seen similar situation. Does it look like we missed any important information that may help to proceed with the eligibility and security check?

Thanks!

@legalfalcon According to IRCC my all stages are passed on July 29th and they asked me to wait for email from them. Any idea how long does it take to get the portal mail after all stages passed.

I cannot speculate. But if your application has been approved, you should have an email within a few days.

In the GCMS notes, you will know what stage your application is at when the documents sent were received and if any action has been taken on them. GCMS notes will definitely give you more info.

Also, you can try calling IRCC and ask for the same and see if you get more info.

If a decision on the PFL has been made, then your application should move. However, it seems that no decision has been made. Have you request your GCMS notes and if yes, do you see any note with regard to the PFL?
