Citizenship Test From Outside Canada

Hello,
I received my test invitation on June 1, with the window to give test between 7-27th June.
I emailed them if they can reschedule the test and they replied in a day with the instructions, that i can use the same link from the original invitation email.

The https://ct-tc.apps.cic.gc.ca/ link says “You can’t take the test right now” ,which is expected. So I emailed them back & have not received a response yet.

I know rescheduling could take 2 months, but do we get any acknowledgement email from them that they have put me in the rescheduling queue?

Also I see the members in this thread, had an test invitation (new or rescheduled) in July after they permitted the online test.

Does anyone know of some old invitee being allowed to take the test outside canada?

Just a quick update so my wife's Test status is now showing as 'Complete' which is a slight relief, I say a slight relief because we weren't panicking but CIC have a mind of their own and so you just never know. Now to the potential obstacle of the 'interview' and of course the 'oath' ceremony.....whenever they might come through.

My advice would be to start studying and to keep on at them and email them daily if you have to, my wife was in the same boat and did the test one day before her window was due to expire…she still hadn’t received any response….one day after it expired they replied with she’s fine to do the test and use the original link lol the one that had expired lol!
Subsequently her status for the test does show as completed having passed the test.
If they don’t respond take the test and and least you have email proof of contacting them repeatedly using different formats.

You'll find that email address in your test invite letter.

Thank u for ur reply~ I totally agree with u! So do u think if I don’t receive their response before the expired day of test and I finish the test within the time frame, will it be any problem for my test result? I have the first outside canada email as proof though.
