It took me 11 months. I was stuck at Security and thought I was in the pot of applicants that IRCC forgot about. But they ended up approving me on a Sunday (or at least that was when I received the emails), so just try to be patient (I know it's hard). As you said, hopefully with your medicals expiring, it catches their attention and they touch your file again.

My meds expire on August 4th (next week) according to GCMS notes. Hopefully the automatic extension triggers some movement on my application.

I hope it does, this has all been too long and drawn out now. I got my fingers crossed for you.

As for me I'm hoping the Adr doesn't delay it much longer

My AOR is 25 August too, but i am a CEC Outland applicant & my Medical is expiring on 14 August. Really frustrated because of this waiting time.

You've gotta be patient. I've heard they're not finalising outlanders at the moment. Hopefully they do before your medicals expire otherwise you'll have to get it redone because you're outside of Canada...

I called them (IRCC) and they said on July 21st your medical is extended

I hope same too. My medical got expired today as well. Will it start reflecting in my account that medical is expired ?? Based on discussions it seems for Outland applicants wait won’t be over soon.
