Why your biometrics received date is June 11, 2021, almost a year after you submitted it? Did RICC request your parents to re-submit their biometrics? Thanks!

Could you please share with me your process of applying for a visa from Vietnam? The below was mentioned but I am not sure if I should be typing this information out on a piece of paper? Or my parents should get the forms at VFS and fill out.


5. The height and eye colour (for both eyes) for the Principal Applicant and all of his accompanying dependants

I am new to this forum and I am hoping someone can help. I was lucky enough to get my parents through the 2019 process and put in their application in June of 2019.

I did receive the file number in December 2019 saying that my application has been accepted. Since then, I have not recd. any further communication. I reached out to the CIC and they say its still in process. I then reached out to the City councilor and they said that it is also still under process.

I am hoping someone can share, whether at this point I should be receiving any other communication or should I not worry about it too much.

FYI - my parents are in India and I have been in Canada for 15 years, getting my PR in 2013 and citizenship in 2018.

Happy to provide any other details and thank you for your help.

Also, is there a google sheet, I can add my name too?

Also, usually this request received in email or via mail?

Ordering GCMS notes and/or reaching out to MP for an update, that's all you can do at this time. Do not worry about anything and be prepared for long delays as IRCC keeps adding backlogs every month.

Hi all. My parents sponsorship is hopefully at the end of processing. We already submitted PCC, medicals approved, fingerprints, etc. Really what is missing now is the DM and PPR. I really need help and my mom is coming to Canada in October, whether the DM is finalized or not (hopefully it will). Anyways, I have a few questions that I am sure some of you can help with shared experiences.

1. Would it be ok to just get her one way ticket? She intends on spending at least 6 months here or more, regardless of DM or not.
2. She had both shots of AZ vaccine back home. How can she prove that? Does she need certified translations? There is no such thing as an international "vaccine passport" now, so I am not sure how to officially prove she is immunized.
3. Dad will stay till DM. Can he come later by himself? Mom is the PA.
4. Any recommendations for health insurance with reasonable price and good coverage to get her while she waits for PR and OHIP?

there is no form attached to it, it appears to be Form B and never attached to the passport request. I asked VFS to send a copy. Thanks.
