@Nneji first of all CONGRATS on your decision made!!
I'll share with you insight based on my findings on previous applicants involvement with AVO, I stand corrected if any of the information provided is inaccurate.
1) it's hard to determine a timeline to when your spouse will receive PPR. I have seen cases where applicants receive PPR same day or within' the same week, and a recent case where @Midepearls has been waiting for PPR for almost a month (DM on June 24 and still waiting).
I encourage you to continue to wait, you're almost approaching the end of this journey.
2) When PPR requested you must send it via courier of your choice, or via VFS. A lot of applicants have used DHL's services. Please note: applicants in Nigeria don't have access to prepaid envelope, but applicants in Ghana do.
If your spouse is in Nigeria he'll have to wait for PUM (pick up mail), and then make arrangements with DHL to have his passport picked up.
As for a timeline for passport to be returned, it depends on when he receives PUM. Timeline for PUM can be two weeks to a month, sometimes a little over a month. However, once he receives PUM - if he's in Nigeria, he can immediately make arrangements with DHL for pick up.
3) I don't think so. When I submitted our application package I included a prepaid envelope for our pictures to be returned, but I highly doubt I'll get it back. It's all good though.

We got the notification May 7th and we were told that he had 30 days to do it, and to escalate if we didn't get a date within that timeline. Closest booking date was June 1 and did at IOM Ikeja, and it got updated within 2 weeks from that time. I dont have exact days because we just use the online tools. Been having challenges linking our application sadly. Anyway the online tool changed from "in process to "applicatiom received".

I am currently in Canada and applied for my spouse since Aug 10, 2020. He is currently in Nigeria and his file got moved to Ghana office, we did get prearrival letter since June 10th and still waiting for passport request. Please how long is the timeline for this and would the letter be sent to the account portal or just via mail. We have been checking everyday and it is getting frustrating

As for the linking the file took me about 7 months to do so and that was after i sent a webform about not being able to. I think my file wasn't in the Gckey system yet. Try sending them a webform or email to give you access and maybe this would be possible. After I sent the webform I was able to link it in 2 days.
Hopefully very soon, as how the AVO works is very unpredictable. One needs to keep fingers crossed and pray always. Trust me checking everyday would stress you(used to do this everyday) once the PPR lands you would be noted via your account (all notifications would surely alert you via email). You are at the end of the road so best be patient and very soon within this or next month I think the PPR would land. There hasn't been PPR for a while now so know you are not left out yet. LOL
But since you an August applicant and have your PAS letter get ready with your MP and contact him once it exceeds a year but for now just waiting I guess.

Also you mentioned to get ready with my MP... please what is that and how do I do it. Did the application myself but still learning as I go along.

From what I've read through the Accra thread it can take approx. 5 months to receive PPR from the date medical is recieved/completed.
You're still within the processing time, hopefully you'll get an update between Aug-Sept, if you don't get one this month.
My hope is that you receive an update this month (of course!), or even the first week of August, but you never know with AVO as they are full of surprises!

There's only one individual that I know of in this thread who received PPR in June (June 25, to be exact), and that is @Goodiesville.
