I didn't give proof my lawyer just write some ,and my lawyer is on holydays ,she told me my case is strong also i told them it effect my mental health ,i can't socialize easily with people because of mental health issue so only reason is stay with my relatives here in canada , please tell me can i get a Work permit if i apply for prra?

You cannot request PRRA but if you repeat at your CBSA interview multiple times that your life is in danger if you are sent back to your country, the officer will give you PRRA application kit. Of course, with UK being the country, this will not be plausible but you can still try.

Some officers are nice and offer to give PRRA application without asking, when they see you have HC in process, because even though PRRA will most likely be negative, it will delay your deportation.

Please go to your interview. My suggestion is to take whatever you have from your HC application (acknowledgement of receipt, copy of application etc.) and bring a family member so that they see your attachment to Canada. Be humble and cooperative. CBSA officers were the only compassionate people who helped my partner remain in Canada. Good luck!

may i know fi CBSA officers have the power to delate a removal order in they think that the person has compassionate argumentsa/situation or don't deserve an explusion ?

I dont know but cbsa thought me and my family have strong arguments, but they said we can wait at our country. So they deported me and my family. Almost 2 years after, Canada gave us aip.

@wello711 no CBSA has the mandate to execute IRCC decisions but does not make decisions. The only thing they can do is to defer your removal order until your HC is decided. But once refused, they have no choice other than execute the removal order.

Some of them are nice enough to call your case officer and ask expedite the HC process.

there’s two kinds of cbsa officer if you end up with a foreigner CBSA officer they will try the best remove you because of the bonus if you end up with a native Canadian CBSA to try to help you little

Mine was it ugly Asian guy and he was lying is as$ off to deport me When I got my copr I went to office He tried to be nice to me and also there was a Russian security guard ugly f@t She keep my daughter she never let me see
She was of a security guard nothing more well pandemic hit she got laid off from her work and she got a job in our office as a security every time I go to work she say hi to me she say bye to me and I just give him a mean look

My dad used to tell me try to be nice and helpful to ppl
God will give you a reward and I see that now

Yes I can totally relate to that. All our CBSA officers are French/English Ontarians and very nice people. They went above and beyond to help me keep my partner in Canada. If my son still his dad around today, the credit goes entirely to this team.

On the other hand, all the IRCC staff that dealt with his case are also "black" and immigrant and they were trying very hard to deport him back to Africa. And I am not just talking about refusals, which are a very normal outcome in HC. They refused his cases and never sent him a decision letter, nor did they close the case until 1 year later. So he could not appeal (with no letter) and he could not file a new application either (cause the old one was still open). Thankfully; COVID put all deportations on hold and we could submit 3rd HC.

If you are referring to the pathway for Pr for Refugee claimants working in health sector, wait for IRCC to give you instruction to withdraw your refugee claim. Don’t ever do that without a go ahead from IRCC

Contac the clinic and ask them how come they didn’t send it to Immigration the MEDICAL results for one your depends it’s Daley your process it’s the medical supposed to be do it electronically

Im in similar situation! I sent it on June 14th, I called then they confirmed that they recived. It’s not in my ECAS yet. its taking time!
