IQAS ECA timeline tracking

Hi All,

We unfortunately had to use this sluggish service called IQAS, after WES said they did not evaluate BAMS qualifications. It took a RIDICULOUS amount of time and still has not completed. The status did not fluctuate between final review/completed as stated on the internet. I used the fluctuation method to download my wife’s report today.

The timeline reads as:

Applied: February 26th , 2021.

Payments Processed: March 12th, 2021

Documents Received: March 26th, 2021 (via mail tracking)

In-line for Processing: June 4th, 2021.

Assessing: June 7th, 2021.

Final Review: June 8th, 2021.

Fluctuation: July 8th, 2021. (Status did not change)

Mailed: Pending

Finally, my wife's ECA process has concluded. Here is her timeline.

Anyone know how.exactly the age calculation for crs score works?? If I am born in say April 1990 . Would I be 32 or 31 presently??

Change of age occurs exactly on the date of birthdays.

I would like to share my time line IQAS eca for GNM from INDIA. I hope it will help other applicants plus GNM applicants from India.

6 August 2019 applied online and sent my own courier package plus made request to University,Nursing council and my college.

August 2019 all the departments sent the documents and which got delivered at IQAS office by the end of August.

9 November IQAS confirmed that they have received the documents.

22 November the requested additional documents which got delivered within a week.

1 week of January I received email from case officer requesting more documents, which got delivered in the same week straight to the case officer.

after one week my online application portal showed that its in final review and after one week of that I was able to download the report using the trick.
Result:-
My Indian study - General nursing and midwifery 3.5 years diploma

IQAS Canadian equivalency 3 and half years post secondary Diploma with focus in Nursing and midwifery.

Please note - There were some delays in my application as IQAS needed additional documents twice.

I highly recommend IQAS to GNM applicants for their assessment and WES do not give desired results for GNM.

Hi - My application was moved to ‘Assessing’ on 3rd July. Yesterday, when I tried to check my status again, the status was still Assessing, but now there is an ‘Actions’ button, which when clicked, gives you an option to view status step-by-step. Did you also see it or did IQAS website added that feature yesterday? I am confused. Should I consider it any progress in my file?

Can anybody else who went through IQAS process confirm it please?

My Uni sent it by email to their email id.

Was it for any Indian University. Do they accept transcripts directly from University official email ID, or it has to be through Truecopy, if you are applying from India.

Hi Ashish, I read in one of your posts that you’ve got your transcript submitted to IQAS via TrueCopy. I have done my PGDM from IMT CDL and plan to get my ECA done through IQAS. I want to send the transcript electronically via TrueCopy, can someone guide me with the process. Also, how is it different from if the university directly sends the documents via email to IQAS vis-a-vis if it’s sent through TrueCopy?

Mine was accepted and placed in line for processing. I got it sent directly from university email id. My evaluation is not complete yet, so not sure if they come back at a later point of time. I sent my hard copies too but they were delivered after my file was put in line for processing.

University sent soft copies on Jun 25th, Status changed to ‘In line for processing’ on 29th june. Status again changed to Assessing on July 3rd. Since then, no updates.
