My medical has been updated yesterday after 2 and half months. Done Biometric in March 2021. File is in London since from March 2021. I am September 2020 Applicant.

My husband got a letter for an interview, I am very concerned because it said it will take 6-12 months for our interview to be held. Is there anyone here who is in the same situation? how long is the average waiting period before an interview?

Interview is not a good news, it isn't bad either, rather than getting a rejection straight away, atleast you have an opportunity to clear things up with them, only thing is, it can take long time, but hey we are all in this together, and trust me nothing can accelerate it, unless Allah permits, there is a right time for you guys and if its not yet, nothing can help, all I can say is pray hard, have patience and don't let it get to you, speak more, discuss more, if you have the means, travel to a country together, enjoy this time while you can. Yes its all sorted im w/d my application lol.
I greatly underestimated this process.
I understood one thing, if you lack any one of the standard proofs they xpect they will shoot down the application. There is zero leniency or benefit of the doubt in this process. One form proof cannot compensate for another.
