1) DO I need to fill in a separate application form? ( The minor's photograph is neatly stuck with tamper-proof tape by the immigration officer...)

I would recommend filling out a new form for the minor.

2) The adult applicants' ( my wife and I) application was deemed to be complete, it was returned sicne the minor's form was incomplete.. can I submit all together (I mean the same applications for the adults)?

As long as the date on the application is won't be more than 90 days when you resend the application, you should be fine using the same application IMO.

3) It said that the form was deemed incomplete, and fees was not taken.. so, do I need to repay the fee, with the new applications? ( I have not asked for a refund)..

You can submit the application with the same fee receipt.
Thank you, Raj.. I had followed your original post's instructions but must have missed the "other evidence ( school forms)" bit.. thanks again...

HI- I have a query.
Our application package ( family of 3) was returned as the Minor's application was deemed to be inc0mplete with missing or illegible information..
On cross-checking, it appears that I did not include the evidence of him going to school here for the duration of stay claimed... and the bottom line signature of the registrar's name on the birth certificate was missing ( I had also sent in another miniature copy, that was probably deemed to be "illegible").. my queries:

1) DO I need to fill in a separate application form? ( The minor's photograph is neatly stuck with tamper-proof tape by the immigration officer...)
2) The adult applicants' ( my wife and I) application was deemed to be complete, it was returned sicne the minor's form was incomplete.. can I submit all together (I mean the same applications for the adults)?

3) It said that the form was deemed incomplete, and fees was not taken.. so, do I need to repay the fee, with the new applications? ( I have not asked for a refund)..
Any experienced member, please reply at the earliest...

Thank you in advance.

Read the instructions in the returned letter they sent, if the photo is pasted into the previous application you should not remove. In the returned letter they should have mentioned if you need to submit a new form or not. Review the application and make sure all the check marks were ticked, and you will probably need to get the signature in the birth certificate by the registrar. The school records and physical presence days calculator are required if your application for minor is under subsection 5 (1), if it is under subsection 5 (2), which I think is your case as you are applying as a family, school records are not required, unless you are using that as personal identification for the minor.

Please find attached.. this was the official response... I will add the school reports (these were missing from the original set), ans also take a better pic of the birth certificate so that the Registrars signature is completely captured, and is legible....

I have another query: the 90-day limit for the adult applications- is that from date of signature to date of receipt of the application at the processing centre (Sydney, NS) ,or is it from date of signing to date of commencement of processing? Please advise (anyone, including @rajkamalmohanram...)

Yeah, better to add more than little!!

In my case my original application arrived there on December 3, 2020, but they returned it on February 23, 2021, due to photos (I had included them and it appears that they misplaced them), so I returned the new package with the previous application forms as in the letter they indicated that I did not need to provide a new physical presence days calculator nor the applications, but the time they received it back I think it was more than 90 days, but as their returned letter indicated that I did not required to fill out new forms I think they were find with it. In your case it appears that they have stapled all your documents per family member and yours and your wife are complete, you only need to return the package as is, just providing the additional information/documentation for your child. Attached the returned letter to each package and a print of your fees receipt to each package as well and probably the check lists if they are missing from your packages.

I can't see anything in the link provided, I'm getting a 404 error.

You must recalculate your physical presence (opens in a new tab) if we return the application because
  • it’s dated either
    • more than 90 days before we receive it, or
    • into the future (post-dated)
Make sure the application form and the calculator printout have the same application date.
If this is what you are asking about, then the time passed between the date you signed the application form AND the date IRCC receives your application should be less than 90 days.

Congratulations!!! I have added the information to the spreadsheet.
Yes it is normal to receive AOR by email, if you provided your email address in your application, then most of the communications will come via email.
You can register in the new tracker tool https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register and you can also use the old tracker system if you have access here https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do
