My lmia was expired and I have apply for study permit can it possible to work on applying stutus

my Lmia work permit was expired in June 2020 so I have applied study permit but still the decision is pending like 1 year finish but still in process... so I am confused that I have allowed to work in apply stutus or not ..
What can I do next please suggest me ....

No - you do not have authorization to work.

You will only be able to work part time once your study permit is approved and you have started attending your classes full time.

Also one of my friend talk to his company and they have requirements for some worker on lmia, can it possible i can apply for that in my apply stutus???

LMIA is Not with my Name but
They offer me if I can they will start processing LMIA..

They need a new LMIA and then you apply for a closed work permit. Will take months.
