Hi! I apologize now for the expression I will have, but I have some questions, and there are many sources on the net with different answers. My relatives who have had permanent citizenship in Canada for more than 10 years have invited my mother, sister and me on a visit to your country. The problem is that at the moment the eligibility to enter the country is still banned by the Canadian government on the grounds that we are going to visit for a month. My question starts here: If my mother and I, who are completely vaccinated (Europe, a green country) in which the restrictions are already null for us, and my sister is unvaccinated at the age of 13, after JULY 5, it is possible for the government to offer the chance to visit the country this summer?

Impossible to say without knowing who these relatives are in relation to you.

At a minimum, you almost certainly have to get an authorization letter to allow you to travel.

Most of the travel restrictions for Canada remain in place. The only thing that's being relaxed as of July 5th are the quarantine rules.

For me and my sister she is an aunt, and for my mother she is a sister-in-law. So there is no chance to visit Canada this summer?

As of now you cannot travel and that will remain the same after July 5th.

You'll need to wait until the travel restrictions lift further before you can plan to travel to Canada.

We don't know when that will be. It's possible that travel restrictions will lift further this summer but also possible that might not happen until the fall. Very hard to say right now. The US has indicated they plan to reopen their borders to international travel as of September 6th. So my guess is that Canada will be September 6th or later.

Ohh, I thought that after July 5, in addition to the quarantine that you don't have to do if you are vaccinated, the eligibility for tourists who want to visit the country will change. Very bad. What can I say, COVID ruined this day and summer for me. I have to redo my plans for this summer. Strange this whole story anyway. How in Europe you can do anything.

The July 5th changes only apply to people who are already exempt from travel restrictions and remove certain quarantine requirements.

Anyone who isn't allowed to travel now still won't be allowed to travel after July 5th.

Yes, you'll need to redo your plans.

A lot of places in Canada still have restrictions. Many restaurants, if open, are not running in full capacity.
It's better to wait till after the pandemic to experience a real summer in Canada.

Lots of concern that Europe May end up regretting opening up so much too soon all in the attempt open up for the all important summer vacation period in EuTheir vaccination rate remains quite low. We are in for quite a lot of new covid hot spots. Just look at Australia whith has been an example extreme protection against covid.

I'm not going for tourism, I'm going to visit my aunt and family.

Yes, we understand that. The issue is that you don't fall under any of the current travel exemptions. So travel isn't possible for you at this time or after July 5th.

You will need to wait until travel restrictions are lifted before you can make plans to come to Canada.

You are not eligible to travel under current rules. You have to wait until it is open for all visitors. Your aunt is not considered your immediate or extended family, and even if she was you would need written travel authorization.
