Hi, no they did not send me an email. I just saw that it was Approved on my CIC account. I have a dependent but my husband's approval is still not showing.

Yes, I had one part time sem (not the last term) with only one course. I applied May 11th ...

I got them 24 hours after applying.
I dont think so because I know a couple of people who didn’t get the letter and got approved, so you should be fine!

You can get rejected for a part time semester, did you provide a letter of explanation to explain why?

Yes, I did. I explained that I didn't meet the prerequisite for the other courses but I didn't attach any proof or letter from my uni. Also, I saw people rejected for one part-time semester even with LOE.

As much as I hate to say this, you will most likely be rejected. I know its not the answer you were wanting to hear, you can withdraw the application so therefore you don't get a refusal. Then maybe consider going back to school and completing a program in which you remained as full time status.

I need some advice guys, I applied on may 14 and still haven’t heard yet but I really need to go back to my home country for a few months. I was waiting for the permit to be approved first and then leave but it doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen in the next couple days. If I leave Canada now on applied status, what would be the worst case scenario? Thanks
