Well not much stuck with background check and eligibility, but she told me that there might be an update next week, will wait and see.

I just talked to an IRCC agent.no progress on file .stuck on background.eligibility and security not started yet.even file not moved anywhere still in VO Vancouver.
But I surprised agent dint told me to hold for a while to access information so I think he was just reading the information from the portal .

Have you asked, why it’s take so slow ? And when it’s last time when they touch your case ?

Actually I did not ask that. I hope it does not take more than 6 months.

I really don’t hav any hope .I don’t want to discourage anyone but Vancouver VO not processing files .

same from the call my application was at CIO sydney and now in vancouver. This is so frustrating. People with same AOR but different office got their portal email.

i called cic, still same status. eligibility recommended pass, Aor 17 jan.
primary vo she said is Yellowknife (never heard of it.)
secondary vo: Vancouver. i dont know if she read it wrong or what.

Yellowknife is the capital of one of the territories. Its further north.

I thought they only have same information as we do. I called and the one I spoke to had no information for me at all.

Yes I'm surprised they even have a cic office there. If my guess is right, because there are few people there and if they have alot of files, then there is a potential for backlogs

hope they process files faster than Vancouver. my file was stuck from 5 months in Vancouver.

I hope so too. I even ordered GCMS and still won't get it until about July 12th.
