Given that OP has UHIP which is a more comprehensive coverage and arranged through the school they don’t actually have a personal relationship with the insurance provider. They will likely have to move to an emergency health policy to try and protect themselves from an expensive unexpected medical situation yet have to pay for routine care. Would shop around between the major Canadian insurers but also read the fine print,
