Hi,
Can u give some more details ,
R u inland applicant and ur spouse outland.
Did u get copr and ur spouse ppr.

I'm also in same situation my husband is in canada and I'm in india ,we got portal mail on june 2nd but no progress afterwards.
@athy This thread is for Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19 so yes.

I did not get a COPR. Only a PPR email. No progress since then.

You can only use portal if all family members are in Canada. They clearly say this on the letter. Did your husband told them that you don't live in Canada?

Hello,

I received PR portal email on June 5 Ottawa VO, I responded the same day but IRCC sent another message again today that I should provide them with the right/requested information.

I was expecting the credential email, only for them to ask me to provide the same information that I already gave them.

Here is the response that IRCC keeps rejecting:

Principal Applicant

ü Name: xxx
ü UCI: xxxx
ü Email :Xxx@GMAIL.COM
ü Original entry date: January 2016
ü Date of last time entered Canada: April 14, 2020
ü Location(Port of Entry):TORONTO ( Toronto Pearson International Airport )

Dependant

I chose option A for the email. My dependant is outside Canada and has never been to Canada. therefore, I am leaving the entry date empty:

ü Name: xxx
ü UCI: xxxx
ü Email :Xxx@GMAIL.COM
ü Original entry date:
ü Date of last time entered Canada:
ü Location(Port of Entry):

Question 1: Those of you guys that have outside dependant or those that have passed the first email stage. Is there any format to responding to the first email ?

Question 2: My dependant has never been in Canada. Please, Am I missing any information ???

I’d really love your input !
Did u get any further updates

hello, if yo are seeing this and your work permit is yet to be approved and you are still within the 90days. i will advice you withdraw your work permit and reapply. add your dependents to your work permit application as accompany. they will grant them visa. the you need to only worry about travel authorization for them. and that one someone recently provided an hack to the travel authorization to get it approved which i am recently doing now.
@Nneoma.muna please can you share this hack for travel authorisation? I’d like to explore TRV route for my Outland spouse

there is a very little chance of getting it cos the application timeline for TRV outside canada is almost 400days. that is if it isn't denied immediately. they only approve if there is an emergency needing your spouse to come. if not don't waste your money or time. besides i didn't need the travel restriction anymore. i and my outland spouse got our PR approved so he is travel exempted automatically.

Congrats on the jackpot! ;)
Getting a PR within 4 months with outland dependent feels like a miracle for people from AOR 2020 and less!
not sure but maybe it seems like AOR after December 2020 seems to be getting PPR requests. Congrats to them.
While on the other hand it sucks for us as we have been waiting the longest.. not sure what is IRCC doing.

Hello Guys,
My details:
Principle CEC applicant and Spouse (Outlland)
AOR 28th Oct 2020
All stages passed when I last checked with IRCC over the phone
Ordered GCMS 1 month back still waiting

I am the principal applicant and my wife is in India (Outland). When I had last checked with IRCC on May 21, my all stages have been passed.
I and my wife already have a valid work permit till 2023 and her TRV also stamped. She was here in Vancouver but last year went to India for her studies and since then she is in India, giving her final paper. Hope she will be back on August 21.

Question:
1. Since she has a valid work permit and TRV, Can she travel to Canada? If yes Should I need to apply for her travel exemption now on a work permit or Should I wait for my COPR and then apply?
2. Any guess when I would get my PPR email? I think Its been 2 weeks since my all stages have been passed.

Thanks :)

They don’t hold the files when it’s under process .. they hold it when it’s ready for approval. Most of us in this group have their process completed 6 months ago and file is ready for approval but COPR is not granted to due to travel restrictions.
