Applying for visitor visa without Proof of Travel

Hello members,
I am trying to apply for visitor visa of my parents. In the document checklist, it requires 'Proof of Travel'. However, we have not yet planned the travel/ flight tickets due to uncertainty in visa processing time.
Has anyone faced this issue? Is there any alternative document that we can provide?

Go to a travel site or airline site and create an itinerary but don’t go ahead with processing your payment. I would explain that you were reluctant to book a flight knowing that only urgent travel was being processed and you wouldn’t want to be denied urgent processing having already booked a ticket. I would also explain that as soon as you know you will get urgent processing you are happy to book a flight and include proof of booking.
