One common question to all people here who has got COPR or eCOPR recently.

What does your ecas shows once you get COPR or eCOPR? Also what about background check and eligibility in your gc key account?
Hi Hopeful boy, The ECAS will show "complete" once you received your COPR/ECOPR.

Hi all, long time no see. If you have recently got your COPR and would like to track your PR card process, Look here.

I found two ways of tracking the PR card application: (It will not show your PR card process on ECAS.)
1.You can link your paperwork to the GCkey. (even you have representatives, I just linked mine lately.)
2.Contact IRCC for the info. (not recommend)

Thanks,
vvin.win

Linking PR Card application; Instuction
1. Login into your CIC account as you usually do.
2. Reach the page where you click "Check full application status" to view your application and messages
3. But do not click on that rather click on " Add (link) your application to your account"
4. Select the "Category" from the dropdown as "Permanent Resident Card"
5. Under Application Details, from "Please select one" select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"
6. Put your UCI as it is NO SPACES and NO HYPHES
7. Put your Family Name as on you CoPR - UPPER and LOWER CASE matter here
8. The tricky one, Place of Birth Section. Here "City/town of birth" is very very crucial. Copy it as it is on your CoPR, any commas, upper/lower case, spaces, just copy it here.
9. Select your "Country/territory of birth" from the drop down
10. Next section is pretty easy as you just select your "Date you became a permanent resident" from dropdown. This is the day you did your landing by either flagpole or landing interview
11. Put "Country of Citizenship" and "Current marital status" from dropdowns.
12. Click "Search for my application", if all the inputs are correct then it will show you that the system has found your application. You just have to click Link my application to account and it will now be shown on "View the applications you submitted" page with your Permanent Residency application.
13. If after clicking "Search for my application" it show no application found, click Try again and try to input all the values carefully again. Each day it allows you 5 attempts. It it still doesn't find your application, you can try again the next day.

GCKey showed nothing until I got eCOPR it showed a date under background check (a day before I received PAL), and eligibility passed on the day they issued eCOPR

My ECAS still shows decision made even though I have eCOPR and GCKey shows Approved. Weird, seems like they forgot to update there
Hahaha, it takes a few days for their system to get updated, usually, they update weekly. As long as you get the E-COPR you are officially a PR in Canada, so, no worry, and congratulations to you.

Hi everyone,
I checked my Ecas and my application Status shows Application received instead of in process. Does that mean an update? Please does anyone have an idea what it means.

AR 1st April 2020
AOR 8th Oct 2020
Upfront Med. 18th Jan 2021
Med. Passed. 18th Feb 2021

Since then no update..

Hi
I believe your file has been transferred to local visa office. Call IRCC to know primary visa office and file transfer reason.

Ecas is still same for me Decision made. Last step was medical has been received.
But on GC, it showed approved, the bar went straight to 100%. Eligibility passed the same day i got ecopr. Background passed date is Same as PAL date

I tried for me and my spouse as well. It didn’t work for both of us.
