At any rate it does seem to mean that there was a new medical certificate issued valid for twelve months (from some date).

Just to add, as far as the "Reassessment" is concerned - not for sure, but i think it might have been the Eligibility.

True, I interpreted as specifically related to medical but context sometimes hard to discern from notes without knowledge of file.

The vacs charge sundry fees like this. Look at the website of the vac to clarify.

Last update was remedical done in April and this email was a reply on my email when I inquired about status of my application

The more you know the file the better one can analyze the info

It’s safe to assume what you have mentioned above is true.
Any changes on your GCkey or ecas under medical? They do not send any email communication informing applicants about the medical extensions. In most cases it was noticed that GCkey was updated.

Okay so considering you just completed your re-medical, they probably have a Bring Forward Date for your application in two weeks. The next update you should get from them is a passport request within two weeks.
