Admissibility involves medical exam review (rather quick) and Background Checks, which involve Security and Criminality.

Easily the longest two processes when you apply for PR.
Yes, there are 2 review phrases in PR: eligibility and admissibility. Generally, TR2PR can go fast since applicants are legally in Canada already.
Most applicants will passed 4 basic eligibility requirements that is ielts, graduation, employment letter and work permit (graduated stream). Some may got "request review" if there is doubted.

The longest process is Med Exam, and Security Review & Check.

If you're applying as a temporary resident (visitor, student, worker), it takes about four weeks to process your medical exam results. After that, we'll tell you what to do next. If you're applying as a permanent resident, it takes about three months to process your results after we get them from the panel physician.

I think so.
Your OLD Med Ex may be looked ok to IRCC (even it is more than 12 months from your last applied to enter Canada)

Look likes TR2PR skips the AOR :)
I had the medical exam from study permit in 2017 (they can check it using UCI), but I uploaded the new one April 2021
