Hey all, I’m at 478. Just trying to map out how long before I get invited when FSW-O rounds start. I mean just want to know how many EOIs are ahead of me.

it would be at least 2. 478 is a good score though. I am hearing it from all the sides that FSW is going to be modified before the next draw happens. IRCC has enough supply of inland candidates which are a priority right now.

My intentions are not to demotivate anyone I'm just passing what I am hearing from a credible source. TIll this fall CEC-specific draws will continue, and in the October session, IRCC is planning to introduce the changes in the FSW program which they will start by next year.

If the draws will be in the 5000 - 6000 range and the number of candidates in the pool increases about 500 per month, he will probably get one in the 2nd or 3rd draw.

IRCC has always had enough supply of inland candidates and will always have enough if what they are looking is scores 300 - 400, but for scores 455+ no chance. Please, let the small talks floating around be just that, small talks and speculations.

I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, I am just passing the info.

Scores currently are not a priority for them. Immigration is a political tool. It is easy to justify giving permanent residency to temporary workers who are already in the Canada and helping them with the recovery than importing foreign talent who will take at least an year to land

AHEAD OF 478...Roughly 6000-7000 at the max..
ahead of 470.....14000

To some extend, i do agree with you.
But they will look at the quality of immigrants too.
Someone with a double master's is more likely to start a start-up than someone under 400...(with no offense intended)...
For whatever reasons immigration is taking place, i believe Canada does want to have a mixed bag...rather than 100000+ '75- 400 CRS' immigrants
