I don’t think so it’s true . Doesn’t matter your nomination is tied to employer or not . People are still waiting for AOR whose application is without employer based.
I received PAL today and now my Ecas shows Decision made but when I called to hear the status I found that automated message hasn’t changed yet. Is this normal? What is usually the next step? Thanks Amigos!

Hi, My AR is 29 July 2020. AOR is 29 January 2021. 1st of Feb, I received the request to submit the biometrics fee. I submitted the fee the same day. Thereafter I did not receive any further instruction letter to do biometrics. Is there anybody similar to my case.
How I can speed up this process. Please share the CIC contact number where I can inquire about the status. Thank you in advance.

My application was in Ottawa got DM in Dec1,2020 and they contacted me on January 15,2021 for COPR long wait!
Hi Congrats! I believe auto msg from hearing the status is the same as GCKEY account. Mine still shows 'action is required' even after I got the portal email.
If your case goes for Portal new stuff, then next should be waiting for the email from IRCC to confirm some info about yourself, and then they will send you the portal link where you can upload your photo and confirm that you are currently in Canada. Congratulations!
