Needs urgent help please.

Hello guys,

I would like to ask a question regarding change in application due to marriage. Recently, my girlfriend got her CoPR and my application is still under process in EE.

1. Can we register our marriage while my application is in progress?

2. Will it impact on my gf's application as her application is already approved? Or should we wait for marriage registration untill I get any response on my application?

Please suggest if anyone has gone through any similar situation like this.

1. YEs, it will not have any impact, but if your application is in progress, and you have not yet landed, you have to inform IRCC and submit your spouse's documents. This would mean that your spouse, who has received a cOPR, but if she has not yet landed, then she too will have to inform IRCC and submit your documents. Her application will be reopened, spouse's documents processed for criminality, medials and security, and then a new COPR will be issued.
