Asking for a friend who is not on this forum

One of my friend received AOR yesterday ( AR 28 Aug) and received BIL today.Does he needs to take his passport to Service Canada for biometrics or he is good without it.

His Passport is currently with RCMP due to ongoing court case.

Passport with RCMP means he is Inland and He had given BIO in past, so CIC Doesn't require BIO again.

No, I didn’t get my DM yet. My criminality is still in process and security and eligibility not started.

I have 48%. This percentage is purely based on the estimated processing time, which is currently at 21 months from when they receive your application. It has nothing to do with the actual speed of the processing. Everyone's case varies.

One of my friend has got his GCMS notes on yesterday. He has representative. Although he applied GCMS by himself. According to it, his file seems like overseas so he is bit worried. He applied from Canada and his spouse is also in Canada as they never been to anywhere. Before he get DM, he wants to let CIC know that he is in Canada with his spouse. He can do via webform. Does he need to attach any proof that he and his spouse are in Canada or just the explanation that they both are presently in Canada. He told his lawyer too but they denied as nothing has been asked. If he will put his own email in Enquirer's email, will his lawyer be notified by CIC?
