do we need to fill A2 form when payment done by net banking
hai amalsk,
Yes. You have to fill the A2 form, put your signature and send the scanned copy to CIBC in an e-mail. Then, upload the filled A2 form and GIC payment copy in the CIBC account.
This is what I did. I got the certificate successfully.

It is always better to send a mail. Additional uploading it in the portal is your choice.
I need help regarding gic(cibc). I have transferred funds from my account to stand. Chartered bank. Can someone tell me what to do with A2 form? As of now I have just filled neft reference number and sent it to mailbox.cibc

Thanks a lot. I have sent the payment proof and A2 form by signing to CIBC email. I will upload it to their site too. Do you have any idea how many days it will take them to give GIC Certificate?

Hie everyone,
In my passport the given name is “Jamie Rakesh Patel”, while in my bank account it is “Patel Jamie Rakeshkumar” does it create any issue while processing for GIC or is it good to go?

Hi Friends,
I made my GIC payment today.
I faced two issues : The bank where I am holding account (Axis Bank) was totally clueless about where to put "ISBO 2020" ! They said there was no such column/space in the RTGS form where these words could be mentioned. Upon my insistence, they asked me to write these words in "special mention" column. I did that. They showed me that the payment was received and accepted by beneficiary bank (Standard Charted Bank). Do I need to worry ?
Secondly, the form is A2/Declaration form ( not only A2). It is declaration under FEMA. Is this declaration form also to be signed, scanned and mailed to the bank ?
Kindly enlighten me.
Regards
