Hi @legalfalcon

My fear came true, my status changed again from, 'We are reviewing the result of your medical exam' to 'We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details' with an accompanying Medical Examination Instructions letter in the inbox. This becomes my third medical in total with the first being an Upfront Medical and the other two being re-medicals. This is so frustrating, I was expecting an extension at least since I have already gone for a re-medical last year.

My question is, what are the chances of a rejection, if they keep on sending me to re-medical? Bear in mind, my last CBSA notes show Eligibility, Criminality, and Security as PASSED. I just can't bear to think that after spending money on a total of 3 medicals, with two being re-medicals that they would go on to reject my application again when they could have done it earlier without wasting my time and money. What do you think?

PS: I'm also now seriously considering withdrawing my application
Some checks like medicals, criminality and security have a shelf life. When they expire, or will expire in case of medicals before a decision can be made on your application, or before you can travel to Canada, the check is done again.

In case of medicals, it is the IRCC heath branch that makes a decision on whether to extend or ask for a re-med. If a re-med has been requested, unless you are medically inadmissible, your application cannot be rejected given that you have passed Eligibility, Criminality, and Security.

Also, first check whether you current meds are still valid and for how long. If they are valid for more than 6 months, then you can send a webform and ask IRCC for a clarification.

I've lost my hope with my CEC inland application bud) I'm already thinking about withdrawing it and applying again, since few friends of mine who applied in August of 2020 already received their cards.
I can understand bro. I don't know why they don't process files in the order they receive it.

Thanks @legalfalcon , unfortunately my re-medical was done in April 2020, so it's expired as well. It's so frustrating that I have to go for a 3rd medical but what to do. I have no choice!

Hi @legalfalcon

I am planning to visit US for about 45 days in June. If get ppr while I am in US, would it be possible to submit my passport there? Do you have information regarding such a situation?

Hi @legalfalcon,
I am an FSW Outland applicant, my application is still in progress (status as per GCMS notes in signature) just like most Outland applicants. I want to know how moving to another country for work will impact my current application?
I am based in India and I am currently interviewing for a job outside my home country, but even before this progresses I would like to know if moving to another country on a work visa will impact my application in any way?
Will it be sufficient to inform IRCC regarding change in my personal situation and move to another country, and will this in anyway delay my application further?

Please share your thoughts on this.

Thanks in advance.

Moving to another country has no impact on the processing a such. After you move, you will have to inform IRCC of the change of country of residence and address. The only thing that will change is your primary office, where you will be asked to submit your passport for PR visa (if you re not from a visa exempt country) and COPR when a final decision on your application has been made.

To submit your passport in the US, you will have to request IRCC to change your VO to US. You can do it, but it may take time. So if you intend to be in the Us for a long time, you can inform IRCC of the change of country of residence as soon as you land in the US.

@legalfalcon I have got my COPR and it is valid till 4th Jan 2022. Currently as COPR holders are not allowed to travel and more over flights are also banned between India and Canada, Can you please tell me if suppose I get an employment offer from Canada now, can I apply for travel authorization letter in this case? Since I won't be on work permit, Can IRCC exempt me from traveling if I have a valid job offer on COPR?

An employment or offer letter by itself won't work, you will need a Work permit, even if you have a COPR.
