PR Card Renewal Status - December 2020

Hi, posting this as I can't seem to find a thread that talks about it - I mailed my PR Card Renewal application on December 28th and, unfortunately, my better half threw out the tracking #, so I have no idea if it has been received, much less acknowledged. Going online, all I can see under my file is my Citizenship application.

Anyone have a good indicator of time for AOR recently?

Thanks, so it appears about 2-ish months for AOR, give or take a bit, maybe a bit longer given the Christmas holidays.. Ugh. Hate all this waiting.

Wanted to give a brief update - Got an email today from IRCC giving me an AOR on January 4th, although it doesn't yet show in the portal - is it normal to have such a delay between actually having the AOR and getting an email about it?

I sent my package December 29th, they received January 4th and sent me an AOR on Feb 17th, so it's slow, but progressing. Anecdotally, it seems to take a shade over a couple of months from filing to getting the card.

Yes I got it in over 3months, roughly 3months 2weeks

Thanks; appears timelines are going up (was 2.5 months when I initially applied.) I'm guessing that means closer to mid-April for me.. sigh.

Mine took 8 days from DM to "mailed" - mind you, I got no notifications once the status changed; it just "magically" happened.

I resonate with your situation. So I applied for renewal of my PR in Sep 2020. Due to some clarifications required by the IRCC we had to submit again . So we applied by Dec 7 2020. Myself and my son got our PR's by end of Feb 2021. But for my daughter, since when we applied her PassPort had expired so they asked for a valid ID . Hence we applied again for my daughter by end of February ( Feb 26th 2021) with a new Passport. It is 2 months now and still we haven't even got any email like we did for me and my son from IRCC with confirmation of the file being picked up for evaluation. I was thinking to send a web form to enquire. Plus my daughter is a minor. Any suggestions would highly appreciated Thank you !
