Hi, I want to ask if anyone here is yet to get a reply from IRCC regarding their application. I'm July 2020 applicant but yet to receive any update from IRCC. not even Temporary AOR. I have called them severally, they told me they can't find my application on the system even after almost a year stating Covid-19 bla bla bla. The agent said he will contact CPC Mississauga to search for my application and update it on the system, almost 2 months gone but still no update. Anybody in my shoes or have a similar problem please. This is so frustrating

Sorry to hear that. I experienced a similar situation but for not nearly as long. I decided to order GCMS notes and when they arrived I discovered that they had mistyped the sponsor's email ('.com' instead of '.ca'), meaning that any communication sent there was not received. I could however see that something had been sent through ECAS. Phoned up and changed the email and now all good.

How did you order for your GCMS notes and did your application get missing. Thank you

Here is one link to order GCMS notes: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/access-information-privacy/request-privacy-act.html - If you are in Canada right now, you can do so under the Privacy Act. If not, I believe the sponsor can do it on the principal applicant's behalf under the Access to Information Act.

Thankfully, my application was never 'missing' but due to a clerical error at IRCC, correspondance intended for the sponsor was sent elsewhere. The notes allowed me to see that, so we called up and gave them the correct email.

We sent our application off in July 2020 as well. Of course every app has a slightly different timeline, but I would expect that most July applicants should have received something by now. The GCMS notes might provide some clarity (if you can even order them without an app number -that I do not know).

Hey, just received an email that says:
"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence
(APR) for your relative will be processed separately and they will be contacted shortly."

This is the approval in principle, right? How long before we get the final approval?

July 3rd, 2020 application.

Yes, just noticed we received the AIP at the same time as the SA.

After the decision is made, what are the next steps? Will they be providing any documentation? Like the CORP?

I think Decision Made will come between 1-2 weeks for you, some people in June got it the next day. Some people also got a phone call for things like confirmation of current address so maybe keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, congrats man, you're arriving at the finish!
